Mark Walton

After 10 years at Lidl (those lovely yellow and blue discount stores!) the lure of armit and fine wine was too hard to resist! As company accountant my role encompasses all aspects of finance from creditor and debtor control, monthly management accounts, the annual accounts and FX hedging.  I have always enjoyed a nice glass of wine and considered my self more of a “white” than a “red” person … until I was seduced by the Italian Piedmont and Tuscan wines in armit’s portfolio. My enjoyment of whites has been enhanced by the discovery of wonderful Chablis from Burgundy as well as the New World Sauvignon Blancs of South Africa and New Zealand. You may think that this may be a job to die for … but the down side is that you can develop some very expensive tastes!

Mark Waithe

Since starting work at armit Mark's job here has been varied but his principle role is the general running of the Purchase Ledger. This involves inputting and paying all invoices foreign and domestic. In addition, he deals with various accounting queries, along with creating and helping maintain management figures and financial reports.
