Château du Trignon

Château du Trignon

Château de Trignon has been a firm favourite with the armit team for many years now. Having been recently purchased by Vignobles Jerome Quiot we are delighted to report that the only change is the name on the invoice. Jerome Quiot has been a well-established name in the Southern Rhône for over 200 years. With 200 hectares of vines in the Southern Rhône ranging from Châteauneuf du Pape to Côtes de Provence, and several generations of winemaking knowledge, it is no wonder they continue to produce classic, terroir driven wines.

Gigondas 2005

Produced from a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre and 10% Cinsault. This is everything you could want from a Gigondas and more - exuberant ripe black cherry fruit, generous dollops of mocha and spice. Burly and robust. Excellent. Drink from 2009.

"Deep violet. Explosive blackberry and mulberry aromas are clean and precise. Creamy, pliant and impressively sweet, with deep dark berry flavors. Finishes with excellent precision and length." - 90-93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
