Another vintage, another spectacular offering of wines from the Rhône Valley. With perhaps the exception of 2002, this latest vintage joins an impressive run of vintages since 1998, which produced squeals of delight from the armit tasting team back in December. The 2005 vintage will long be remembered for its perfect growing season, exceptional quality across the board and longevity in the wines, from the easiest Côtes du Rhône to the most stunning Côte Rôtie. A strong statement that armit stand by, but a sentiment that is shared by the majority of growers in the region.
