Domaine Jean Paul & Benoît Droin
We were delighted to be able to start working with Benoît last year and his wines have impressed everybody who has discovered them since. Young, dynamic and bursting with enthusiasm, Benoît is thoroughly conscious of the weight of expectation as the 14th generation Droin to run the domaine but seems utterly unencumbered by it. His 2005s show all of the ripeness and richness of the vintage but without ever losing their precision and purity. Serious wines with a playful edge.
