Mulderbosch 2008

The 2008s are here! The Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Rosé have landed on our shores just in time for summer drinking and are absolutely sublime.

One of South Africa’s finest wineries, Mulderbosch have triumphed once again with 2008 harvest. Situated in the prime Koelenhof area of Stellenbosch, the vineyards benefit from the ‘wind tunnel effect’ which cools the grapes and preserves the delicate aromas and flavours. The Faithful Hound and Shiraz are superb barbeque partners, and the newly released 2007 Late Harvest Sauvignon is perfect for summer puddings. We heartily recommend these for your summer cellar.

Sauvignon Blanc 2008

£116.00 per case of 12 - add to basket

Clear, light lime green color. A tropical nose packed with guava, green fig, granadilla and a hint of floral – yet still maintaining a complex character of nettle and freshly cut grass. The mouth-filling ripe fruit is supported by crisp acid. This wine screams one thing: Give me more!

Chenin Blanc 2008

£107.88 per case of 12 - add to basket

Pale yellow in colour with a hint of green. On the nose, tinned pineapples, guavas, lychee, lemon and lime aromas are abundant. A clean, lively wine with nuances of nutmeg and cloves. Well-balanced and elegant, but with weight and a powerful followthrough on the palate. Stylistically off-dry and lightly oaked this is an excellent food wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2008

£111.00 per case of 12 - add to basket

A lovely, lively, bright and clear pomegranate colour and has complex layers of strawberry, cherry, roses and fresh peaches on the nose. The wine has a nice, spicy and slightly peppery taste on the palate and is well balanced with a fresh long aftertaste.
