armit Reserves

Many of the wines that our customers buy from us and from other sources require ageing for several years. Your wine will be held within bond making it easier to trade, and deferring any duty or VAT payable until you take delivery of your wine. We offer a full cellaring service including:

Storage of your wine at our cellars in Wiltshire in ideal temperature and humidity conditions. Your wine is fully insured whilst it is held in the cellar

Regular reserve statements showing the wines you hold, with recommended drinking dates and current market valuations

Advice and assistance if you decide you would like to sell any of your wine

Delivery of wine you have purchased from us when it becomes ready to drink or you want to move it to your cellar at home

We will collect wine purchased from other sources and add it to your cellar

We offer a high level of service, and hope that you will want to consolidate all your wine with us

PAUL RICHARDS - armit Reserves Supervisor

Paul graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Geography and Geology in 2000.  He spent his early professional years working in the Venture Capital industry, before moving into the Financial Futures Markets as a Trader.  A major change in career direction in 2006 brought him to the wine trade and to armit. Four years on he now heads up the Reserves department. With a passion for fine food and wine he often finds he can’t afford the rent.

MARIANNA BRICE-TAKACS - armit Reserves Manager

Having graduated in Marketing and Economics in her native Hungary, Marianne gained a winemaking and business MBA at the University of Dijon. She then moved to England and built up three years of wine sales and marketing experience before moving to armit in February 2005. She is still coming to terms with the loss of long, sun-kissed continental summers, but manages to compensate for this with her love of photography, cinema and her husband's cooking.
