Our Current Rates

 

Delivery

We currently charge £15 per standard UK delivery address for all wines delivered from reserves (up to 5 cases.) Delivery of 5+ cases will be quotable. 

 

Mixed Cases

As of March 2009 we are able to insure mixed cases upon request at a cost of £9 + VAT per case. Conditions apply. Mixed cases cannot be split for delivery.

 

Transfers

On arrival, we charge receipt, handling and a pro-rata rental fee for the remaining year’s insurance for your wine. We will also provide a condition photograph of your wine for validation purposes. Wines to be stored should be advised, in writing/e-mail, before arriving at the warehouse. Condition photos should be checked for accuracy. Where this is not done, armit cannot accept liability for errors, loss or damage on receipt.

 

Rental Charges

We will charge you a fee for storage on an annual basis. Our current rates are as follows:

Pro Rata Insurance and Storage

Charged from month of arrival until 31st March 2013 at the appropriate pro-rata rate.

 

Current Duty Rates

Duty is £21.71 per 9 litres for still wine, £27.81 for champagne and £28.94 for port. VAT is 20% and all figures are subject to change by the government.
