RICHARD SUTTON - Managing Director armit HK

Richard spent over a decade as a schoolmaster and Head of Languages, teaching Japanese and French, coaching sport and directing plays at Trinity School and Wellington College. He also enjoyed extended periods of employment as an education consultant in Tokyo and a buyer in France. Richard joined armit in Spring 2008 from Corney and Barrow, where he had been Head of Export Sales. Richard manages trade and private client accounts abroad, with particular focus on the growing markets of Asia. He is also Managing Director of our subsidiary, armit Hong Kong. Richard lives with his wife Atiya and two young children in Richmond. His interests include cooking, music, golf, real tennis and collecting Air Miles.

IVY NG - Private Client Sales Manager

Ivy joined armit Hong Kong in September 2010, after a degree in engineering and more than 15 years in the financial industry, first as an investment banker, latterly as an executive search consultant focusing on the financial services industry. A Hong Kong native, Ivy has lived and worked in the UK, Tokyo and Singapore as well as having completed an internship in France. Ivy’s travels have taken her to many Michelin-rated restaurants, wineries and archaeological ruins around the world. When she is in her home town Hong Kong, she enjoys entertaining at home, cooking for friends, reviewing wines and restaurants and writing her blog. Ivy is a certified WSET educator.

MIRANDA MA - Private Client Sales

Born in Hong Kong, Miranda developed her passion for wine while studying in the UK. After completing a Masters in English Literature, Miranda returned to Hong Kong and worked in the media. She entered the wine industry in 2007 and joined Armit in 2011. Miranda loves wines from all over the world, but her favourite region remains St Julien. In her free time, she is often found reading or writing while drinking a dram of lowland whisky or Chinese tea.

CRYSTAL KO – HK & Asia Operations Support

Prior to joining armit in the summer of 2011, Crystal gained various experience in event management, logistics support and graphic design after completing her degree in Business Administration.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, oil painting and tasting wines with friends and family.
