Despite exporting a massive 75% of their total production, Chile has only really established a presence in the UK over the past two decades, although their history of winemaking dates back centuries. Initially known for the production of good value, inexpensive wines, they are increasingly turning their attention to the premium end of the market with an explosion in varieties offered and new regions being planted.
