The best known wineproducing villages are Rully and Montagny, growing well priced, great value Chardonnay. Visually the most beautiful part of Burgundy, the Mâconnais produces Chardonnays ranging from inexpensive generics, to fabulous single vineyard wines from the region?s two most famous villages, Pouilly and Fuissé.
